The bigger your network, the more powerful your searches and introductions become. Connectors are people who’s networks you want to look across but don’t want to formally invite in as users on getIntro. By adding connectors, you expand your searchable universe significantly while keeping the process simple, lightweight, and invisible to the connectors themselves.
❓ FAQ: What is the difference between a user and a connector?
- Users are active participants on getIntro. They have login access, can run searches, and their full set of connections becomes searchable by other users when they connect their Linkedin accounts.
 - Connectors are individuals whose networks you want to include without inviting them into the app. They don’t log in and won’t know that they’ve been added to your community on getIntro; however, their networks are still searchable.

❓ FAQ: When should I invite someone as a user versus add them as a connector?
- Invite as users when you want full LinkedIn visibility and active participation in the app.
 - Add as connectors when you want fast, low friction network expansion - you’ll still see up to 1,000–2,500 of their connections without needing them to sign up.
